Course Objectives

The course World of Laser aims at giving an introduction about lasers such as when it was created, its inventors, the definition of laser and concepts of light spectrum. Besides, the course discusses how lasers work and it makes notes about the differences between the laser light and ordinary lights. In addition, the course presents many interesting laser applications in various areas such as data storage, including details about laserdisc, communication, displays, scientific research, energy technologies, military and healthcare.
